National Gardens - Athens (Greece)

The National Garden at Athens in Greece, open from dawn 
to sunset, is an oasis in the centre of the city. It has a total 
area of 160,000 square metre. Some five hundred different 
kinds of plants, bushes and trees from various locations 
around the world are grown here. 
The National Garden at Athens in Greece which was 
formerly the palace garden was laid out from 1838 - 1860.
It is a good place to go far a walk, sit on a bench, listen to
 the singing of the birds and relax. You wil also find here a
 lake with ducks, the Botanical Museum, a small traditional
 cafe, a children's library, and a playground. The National
